PLA Plastic

PLA Plastic 3D printing

PLA is a fully biodegradable and eco-friendly 3D printing filament derived from sustainable renewable plant-based raw materials, standing out as a green alternative to traditional plastic printing materials. Perfectly adapted for mainstream fdm 3d printing and standard fused deposition modeling processes, this user-friendly material delivers an ultra-stable printing experience with minimal shrinkage and exceptional inter-layer bonding strength, effectively avoiding common printing defects such as layer separation and model warping. It features an ultra-lightweight property paired with a delicate, smooth surface finish, enabling precise restoration of intricate details and delicate structures. Capable of consistent high quality 3d printing output, PLA is widely utilized for fine art models, design samples, aesthetic decorations and industrial rapid prototyping, meeting diverse low-load modeling and display demands with eco-friendly and stable performance.

Product Specifications & Features

Price: Our PLA Plastic 3D printing service starts at an affordable price of $1.00, providing cost-effective solutions for various prototype and low-demand projects.
Technology: Manufactured using mature FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) technology, a widely adopted industrial 3D printing process that delivers reliable molding quality, stable layer adhesion, and consistent part performance.
Build time: The standard production lead time is 96 hours. For large batch orders or complex geometric designs, the manufacturing period will be appropriately extended to ensure quality.
Colors: Available in four standard colors: Black, White, Red, Blue, meeting diverse aesthetic and application requirements for most prototype and creative projects.
Tolerance: Strict dimensional accuracy is maintained throughout production. The tolerance is ±0.3mm for dimensions ≤100mm, or within 0.4% for dimensions exceeding 100mm.
Wall thickness: Recommended minimum wall thickness is 1.6mm for optimal structural strength and print stability; the absolute minimum wall thickness is 1.2mm for lightweight or simple designs.
Maximum build size: The maximum printable dimension is 250mm × 250mm, supporting the production of medium-sized functional components and assembly parts.
Minimum build size: The minimum printable dimension is 30mm × 30mm × 15mm, suitable for small prototypes and precision decorative parts.
Heat deflection temp: Boasts a moderate heat deflection temperature of 53°C, ensuring stable structural performance under normal room-temperature conditions.
Strengths: Environmentally friendly and biodegradable, cost-effective and practical, easy to process and suitable for a wide range of prototype and creative design applications.
Weaknesses: Features a natural textured surface typical of FDM printing, which is inherent to the process and does not affect functional performance.
Applications: Ideal for functional prototypes, assembled structural parts, automotive components, household appliances, and various creative design projects.
